About the Location

In 1978, Rhett’s Parents Stephen and Patricia Forbes began designing their dream home. Inspired by the images painted by the classic novel Gone With The Wind, Stephen, along with Patricia’s father Edward Chesanek, began the epic task of building the home from the ground up. Learning and perfecting the art of Italian Plasterwork was just one of many obstacles for Stephen to over come, causing the project draw local headlines. Now Rhett has taken over the everlasting project, and has been working tirelessly since April to restore its beauty, so it may be used as the back drop of the wedding celebration, and continue it’s tradition of love.

Parking

On Street parking will be located on Sheldon Rd and up onto Morehill drive and Alice lane. Space is somewhat limited so please Carpool if possible!

FAQ

Whats for dinner?

Our favorite foods! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desert will be served buffet style throughout the day.

Will my food allergy be a problem?

Yes, probably always. However, please email Michele and state your ailment and she will make sure things are labeled just for you!

What if I get thirsty?

Drink something! There will be plenty of wine, local beers, and the signature Campbell Whisky Sours. Of course, there will be juice, water, and local cider and soda too.

What should I wear?

You probably should let your mother dress you. Wear something comfortable that makes you feel good about yourself and be as fancy as you want to be! Don’t forget, you will be outside—so wear comfy shoes. If the weather looks iffy, bring an umbrella or your favorite poncho.

Is there somewhere to crash?

No, when the reception ends you are on your own. You might want to Google hotels around 06489. However, if you fall asleep in the yard, no one will say anything and we might even throw a blanket over you.
