Registry Fund
For two years we’ve saved towards the ‘venue’,
planned the dress code—mapped out the menu.
Your presence that day is truly all we need,
but everyone keeps asking for our registry!
We’ve had thirteen years to slowly acquire,
All the little things our hearts desire.
As for something we truly need —
for our old home to get up-to-speed.
So, our list is full of such ‘big ticket’ items,
we couldn’t possibly ask you to buy ’em.
A Stove—a furnace—a remodeled bathroom.
A washer—a dryer—a real honeymoon.
So we hope you do not think it too gauche,
but a monetary gift would help us the most.
